It transmits clear, color video and audio via the included receiver to any monitor or TV set. You can then record the video using your VCR or recordable DVD player. The camera kit comes with everything you need to get the camera setup-one 1.2GHz camera with one 8v 500mA adapter, one 1.2GHz receiver with 9 volt 500 mA adapter, 1 antenna for the receiver, one 9 volt battery connector for the camera, and one AV cable with RCA plugs to connect to your TV.
